Car driving lessons Tallaght (EDT)
Essential Driver Training Tallaght (EDT)
Essential Driver Training (EDT) is a structured training programme for learner drivers consisting of 12 driving sessions with an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), or six sessions if you are eligible for reduced EDT.
Reduced EDT
If you hold a foreign licence you may be eligible for reduced EDT which means you only have to complete 6 driver training sessions, instead of 12. see our REDUCED EDT PAGE
What does EDT Driving Lessons involve?
EDT is a course of 12 one-hour Driving lessons.
These Driving lessons are designed to cover certain critical driving skills and improve your practical driving skills.
As you complete each lesson,
your Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) will record your progress in a specially issued logbook.
You should also have a Sponsor, an experienced driver
(many learner drivers choose a family member)
who will supervise your driving practice outside of lessons,
and will also track your progress in your logbook.
